a
sparrow
sits atop
wondrous
snow covered
evergreen tree
patiently awaits
bitter cold wind
to be replaced by
the renewal of spring
a time to create new life
fledglings to test their wings
fly among the spreading yews
thirst quelled as tiny buds bloom
when mother nature opens the sky

Nothing like the sun and flowers in bloom to make a heart warm from a recent chill Sandy. Makes us too think and know that often after life’s storms in life the sun will shine again. Sweetly leaves a warm feeling this poem.

Ah, the sweet sounds of spring. It's almost around the corner too and I saw the rabbits popping out last week. A beautiful poem that reminds us all of this season. You did a fine job with everything. Thank you for entering and good luck!
