Caring Friend

Just friends they say,

But who's to know

Of loves fate.

He takes care of her,

Not that she's needy,

Of her he prefers.

Although she's not ready.

She's a little confused.

Loving him as a friend.

His affection she refused,

From her he descends.

Their friendship to prove,

The "test of time",

In ways other people moved,

Sublime.

I like the end, agree about the colours. It's a sweet write... and it makes you a poet!! - your author page says you couldn't write about other people...but you've succeeded here

    Take care xx

Nice write. The colors really clashed though. It was a bit more difficult to read the poem. Cute poem. Keep writing!

awe, this was a sweet and tender poem, though I there is some kind of sad message behind it. I'm sure of it that a whole lot of friendships turn out to be kinda like this, where one person grows a feeling of love, and the other just sticks with the good friends-part... and then, when love doesn't come back the friendship is sometimes ruined...
Keep up your wonderful way of writing!

It is hard to love someone when they do not love you back. Sometimes you just have to wait for hte other person to love you back. Always be there for your friends, . Awesome peom, I do hope that things work out for your two friends.
