sister.

Dear sister,

you are always there, you make me feel warm.

Dear sister,

you comforted me, during that storm.

Dear sister,

i hope you stay, for a few more years.

Dear sister,

when you leave, it will be with tears.

Dear sister,

i just wanted to say, thank you.

Dear sister,

you always seemed to know, what to say and do.

Dear sister,

i hope you remember me, when your no longer here.

Dear sister,

i hope you'll always remain near...

This is indeed a lovely dedication to your sister - one that I am certain she will treasure. Well done dear poet. Good luck in the contest.

Dedications are always lovely. What struck me here was the repetition of Dear sister. I thought at first it would be in letter form but then there was that line over and over again. I don't think it helps you here. However, it is always the eye of the artist to decide. I'd love to see what it would look like without that repetition.
This is overal heartwarming.. Thanks for entering.
