Thank you for teaching me to cry.

Before i could Fly.
I was learning quiet well by myself .
But oh No,
Not you.
You couldn't ever be happy.
Allowing me to have my own emotions.
allowing me to love myself.
Oh no darling,
that would never do,

Not for you.
So i sent a note.
'Roses are Dead,
Violets are Too,
I hate myself,
SO much more then you'
You think I'm going to give it all up for you?
Well Fuck you!
Fuck your pretty face,
And Fuck who ever you think you are.
because i know you.
And i know you're not worth the air you breathe.
I can put this to peace.
But i still hope to see you,
In my place.
Valentines is Like Love.
It prays on the innocent.
Robs them.
Gives them something special.
Even though 5000 other people receive the same.
You'll still think its so special.

oooh so sad. but true. i hate valentines day. its a load of comercialised crap - you should tell someone you love them 365 days a year not 1. but yeh this piece is emotional and powerful. nice write, keep up the good work

Such pain in these words. I know it seems such a lecture to say that someday you will find the special attraction people have to Valentine's Day
. It takes a special person to make another special person feel special... so when you find your special person... a person that believes you are the most special person in the world as well... then you will see the beauty in this day. I used to hate it as well, but now... it has a value beyond most other days marked on the calendar. Best wishes and s ~genielassie~

Wow, I really felt your pain here. I Hate Valentine's Day as well, it always makes me depressed and this poem proves that its just another crappy day. This is a perfect piece, and don't ever change it.
