Evening comes on swift wings
violet-black shadows envelope the ground
the crimsom sky evaporates
into an indigo background
the numbing air carries dark hearts
ancient beings with lifes untold
my friends of red rivers
the shimmering stars whisper our fate
the wind blows their glittery blessings
to us
Moon, your silver light breeds our strength
suggesting battles of old
Purple sky of twilight bold
I bathe in your beauty
Basking in your frigid touch, I embrace the Majesty of the Night Sky.

Great
Wow! I love the way that you use words. It sort of reminds me of mythology, because it is so elegant and pretty sounding. Great job. Keep it up. -
Wow. This is fantastic. You used a certain uniqueness for describing the imagery. Good luck, and thank you for entering the contest.
