Melody Of The Heart

We gaze out over the beach,
watching the sunset as it dips down
while listening to the soft
symphony of the melodious sea

I close my eyes and lay back,
feeling my lover brush his fingers
over my skin as if he was playing
a beautiful melody on a harp

I smile and sigh as he hums
our special love song, lulling
me into a peaceful stillness as
I concentrate on the music around me

As I sit in his arms and listen,
I can even hear the wind's harmony
as it blows through the trees and grass,
blending in with the ocean's rushing tune

When I feel myself falling asleep
I feel him shift under me and I open my eyes
We look at each other silently, without a word
He smiles and bends down to kiss me

I accept his gesture and take his mouth in mine
We wrap our arms around one another and lie back,
covering the length of our towel and holding
one another tightly in our loving embrace

I moan through his sweet kiss as I feel him
running his hands across my thighs and downward,
gasping with pleasure as he touches me gently
I hear my own melody; the melody of bliss and desire

Everything is a blur of melodic pleasure as I
hear him whisper my name softly in tune with my own bliss
As I still hear the wind and the waves playing with us
As I feel the rhythym within our bodies joined together

We are one instrument joined by many
We play one melody as we reach high pitch
and then slowly soften in to a peaceful harmony
Everything playing along with us in one beautiful serenade

We smile at one another, beaded with moisture
and keeping our melody within our souls
Never speaking a word, as there was no need
Our melody of the heart spoke volumes
