Wither Before Me

Wither before me my perfect love
As I watch wilted  petals flutter
Aimlessly to the ground

How cold and morose
You have  become
Where once you were my light
In my dark existence

I stand before you but you don’t see me
Your Smile , not your eyes, do they reach
Blue diamonds that once shined for  me
Is now dull and  tarnished....
Luster once more, I beseech

I only have my self to blame
The beauty of what might have been
The refuge  I seek
Must be within myself
(I know no mercy
When it comes to him)

I hold no regrets and seek no redemption
For my will has won over my heart
so many obsticles in our way
our love was hindered from the start

But it’s the pain of wanting
The hurt of  feeling
So left behind....
As I watch him move on
My hand extending,
My devotion , only mine....

As you wither before me
My perfect Love....
