What if, I were to tell you...A secret no-one knew
What if I were to tell you...Out of everything you do,
There was no reason, There will be no reason,
There was never a reason, true.
What if my secret was there is no reason for anything.
None for dying, none for living every day.
None for listening, None for hearing anything you had to say.
No reason, like a whisper in the back of your mind, you'd know...
There was no essential reason for you to live today or tommorow...
Or dare i dream, not even a care of a reason for your sorrow.
Those pains throughout your life (to make you suffer)
No reason for people at War Hunger or in Strife.
No god given reason for anything at all...
Would you still live your life...?
Or with this little secret, of no reason...
From ashes to ashes, fall ?

Hmmmm
thats the point...If we base our life upon this and its a fallacy that we eventually figure out...we all *or most* would crumble...or Would we...?
-
wow...I loved the flow and the thought that went into this piece. Believe me if everyone thought there was no reason to life, do you really think that mankind would exist today? lol. Just a simple question and opinion.
Well done

sounds like a dark nightmare of sorts...and I mean that as a compliment. It has a sound of...searching for something - of holding on to something...good job.

Nice poem. It makes me think of if we only had one life to live it would seem like there would be no point in living. I don't think that's true though because then it would take all meaning out of life.
