Saul was breathing out murderous threats,
against all of the Lords disciples everyday,
asking for letters from the High Priests of Damascus,
he was looking for people who belonged to the Way.
Saul was asking to put all Jesus followers in jail,
it did not matter he wanted men and women too,
Saul asked if he could take these people prisoners,
to take them to Jerusalem is what he would do.
As he was nearing Damascus, Saul saw a light,
he saw the light was flashing all around,
it had flashed down from Heaven above,
Saul was afraid as he dropped to the ground.
The Lord asked Saul, Why do you persecute me?
who are you, Lord? Saul asked in fear,
I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting He replied,
now go to the city, wait there, till you hear.
The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless,
they heard the sound but did not know what it could be,
Saul got up and they led him into Damascus
because now Saul was blind, he could not see.
He was blind for three days he did not eat or drink,
the Lord called in a vision to the disciple Ananias
He said go to house of Judas on Straight Street,
ask for a man named Saul from the city of Tarsus.
As Saul is praying in this house he has a vision,
a vision of the Lords disciple Ananias is seen,
it shows Ananias come and place his hands on Saul,
He restores his sight to what it had been.
Ananias said, I have heard bad thing about Saul,
Lord, he has harmed your saints in Jerusalem,
he comes here with the permission of the chief priests,
to arrest all your followers both men and women.
The Lord said I have chosen Saul to be an instrument,
He will carry my name before the Gentiles and the kings,
Saul shall also take my name before the people of Israel,
then he will see how much suffering my name brings.
Ananias went to the house and placed his hands on Saul,
he told Saul, Jesus sent me and told me what to do,
Jesus appeared before you on the road, made you blind,
now he sends me here to restore your sight to you.
Saul then became filled with the Holy Spirit of God,
At once something like scales fell from Saul's eyes,
Jesus Christ had allowed Saul to see once again,
Saul was allowed to eat after he was baptized.

Jason (live4eternity) told me to start with John, bscause it would help me as a new Christians. I also love reading the Pslams in the Old Testament. I never thought I would feel the Holy Spirit the way I do. He is truly an amazing God blessing me with Hs gifts. God Bless you Chris. Love and peace to you through Jesus Christ.

I bet this is when Saul turns to Paul and writes all the love ballad of the bible I love to read so much. You know they say he was senile, but I believe his passion for christ was so strong that they were mistaken just as today we christians are mocked and laughed at when our faith takes us so far and we don't live on the earthy dwellings or fear the inevitable for our Lord does take care of our every need.
and Paul demonstrates that so well to us over and over again.
You give a great testimony for those that have doubt to see God's work and wonders at hand.
keep doing what you do so well Sandy, for God so loved you so much that he only made one of you.
Tamara

Oh Sandy, you’ll not believe this one, amid reading acts again here, and wow what an insight I was shown tonight, a vision, a depth and understanding way beyond belief and the depth, indescribable. I’ve enough from this to perhaps write a book on the spirit and ourselves. It’s still flooding me now. And all trough the book of acts and Genesis 3: 15.
You know many times I’ve asked why we use sinners and those of former bad repute to relay the word with such power. This is answering me and expounding truth as I type. That’s a mighty book for all is "acts".
