Odd

Today I woke
and at my window frame
did gaze upon
the pure snow
sparkling
in the early morning light
until
the neighbor's dog
came
and turned it
yellow
the color
of rotting teeth
and lemon sherbet

what an odd world we live in

like the rotting teeth and yellow sherbet. it seems to widen the relevance of the intent to the outside world, i know i am being incredibly pretentious here, but i'm just saying how i see it....forgive me!

lol. i love the white snow when it first falls and isn't dirty. my dog always ruins it because she pees as shes crouched down, walking and it makes a yellow dotted line across the once white snow. then i think snow is ugly. funny poem though.
