I Glimpse Eternity

Heaven lies beyond the clouds,
hidden from the naked eye's view,
but close your eyes real tight,
it is there right in front of you.

There are friends and neighbors,
stopping to say hello to you,
some have been in Heaven a while,
they are thinking about you too.

eternal laughter
souls together forever
never forgotten

There are angels singing praises,
their voices sing in exaltation,
so much passion can be heard ,
Heaven is so full of jubilation.

I hear Gabriel playing his trumpet,
as angels sing praise to the Lord,
the softness of the harp strings,
brought together in sweet accord.

joyful harmony
heavenly celebration
angelic hymnals

There is grandma and grandpa,
oh how I miss them both so much,
I miss all their words of wisdom,
how I miss their gentle touch.

I see my family that has departed,
all wrapped in God's great love ,
they are all smiling and laughing,
such  happiness in Heaven above.

heavenly father

I want to close my eyes forever,
never wanting to leave this place,
the passion I feel is overwhelming,
as I look upon our dear Lord's face.

I shall live my life for Christ Jesus,
my salvation has set my soul free,
as I stand here with my eyes closed,
I have gotten a glimpse of eternity.

    I'm overwhelmed at the beauty of this spiritual rhyme of praise to our Lord God!...simple forms, with immense devoted Love...Angels are singing with joy over your Spirit of words to us all...retorical, yet so personal...this perspective relates to my acceptence of how Faith should be Lived...ah, to glimpse Eternity, showing the most important aspects to Life...your own dash of view, still staying true to God's Unconditional plan and depicting the Heaven we all wish to be here now...a poet at heart, but a heart with God...just beautiful...Thank you for entering my contest, and reminding me how wonderful it will be...it is...take care...God Bless...May He Bless you all of His Days...
