awe the poor little puppy
the picture only left me wondering how on earth the dog got himself in this troubled situation
And again, you have entered a nice Haiku... beautiful image and nice setup make this one simply teriffic!
Thanks once again for another entry, I wish you the best of luck!

Technically you are quite right, myron. But as senryu are by definition not as strictly 'objective' as haiku, I thought it could scrape by.
-
enjoyable
i like what you have done here...it's cute & funny and uplifting...i'm not sure it's a senryu though - as it seems to concentrate more on what the writer thinks, rather than what is seen.
all the very best,
myron. -

LMAO...OMG That picture is just too friggin' funny! And I love the poem. Its very profound. The combination here is just awesome. Beautifully penned and nice pick of picture to put with it, as it did bring a smile to me face. And its neat how both the poem and the caption of the picture are so very true.

nice.i am beginning to really love this haiku thing.

What humility
You hid your poem under the picture! When I stop laughing, I'll go back and concentrate on that 'caption' you call a poem! -
Thank you, Mary!

I love the senyru! True, it is the most uplifting offering one can give, a simple smile. The picture/caption is just plain adorable. Thank you for the smile.
-

This great! Even though I am in the contest, I think this is my favorite of all, so far. Not only did the picture add to this, but the haiku was a perfect rendition of what a smile is. Brilliant!

Excellent
In some cases it is clear that the victim did not cause the problem!
That is a fabulous pic, and I'm glad you posted it.
The senryu is fine as well, not in the "oh, fine" sense, but it gets to an important point with grace.
-
