come out
come out
whereever you are.
hello there my dear
in the darkness
where i find you
h~i~d~d~e~n behind the corner of
someone else's soul.
you merely envelope all light
chuckle as it evaporates
to dark.
i saw it and it was b~e~a~u~t~i~f~u~l
just once you opened up that icy heart.
my dear; if you had eyes
i didn't need them to see a soul
and i would reach out and touch it
if i could.
but you
you're unreachable
while i was out in the sunlight
chasing someone's footsteps
you were still hiding in corners.
come out
come out
whereever you are.
hiding from the pale moonlight
or the sun's burning rays
i met you halfway in between
in the shadows
where your heart is.

this contest has been long over due to be judged and i have to thank you so much for having the patience to continue to participate. i'm glad that i made it exclusively to those members that had me on their favorites list (because i'm sure other people would have complained about it not being judged in a timely manner. i came up with a way to judge this contest without any favortism involved. you will be assigned a bingo number and it will be entered in the cage for drawing. once each poem has been assigned with said number, then a drawing will be held and the list will be published in the order the balls come out of the cage. look for the ball number at the end of this comment.
this still touches me every time i read it. but everything you have written has always compelled my soul. shadow, you have a gift and i do wish you were here to share it with everyone on this site. hopefully, you will be back some day to grant us the time to share your talent.
thank you for entering, luvya, DARK
your ball is: g-47

This was a wonderful poem that captured you and pulled you along to read more to find out if that soul ever found you or you it. I could hear the sing song tone in the line, "Come Out Where Ever You Are," and it dive give it that edge that brought it to life. This was a wonderfully written poem.

you always seem to connect with me through your writing. i don't know how you do it! what is it about you that connects to my soul? what is it about you that strikes a beat in my heart? how do you know the path that always find me standing there? how is it that you always know? this is 1 of 5 eligible poems that are entitled to be in the contest, thank you, DARK.
ps: thank you for putting your entry in this exclusive contest for you and select others. i will do at least two of these a year to show my appreciation for you loyalty. once the contest is over feel free to place this poem in someone else's contest, unless perhaps this becomes the winning entry of one of the trophies. in that case i prefer for you to always leave it here for when people come by this contest, they have the opportunity to read the winning selections. i will give you a hint about winning in the contest. the more you enter the better you increase your chances of winning and the same goes for commenting. that's all i will say, but you will understand once the contest is closed and itz judged.
this is 1 of 100 poems that has been applauded and will be placed in the body of the contest of "a DARK reading" as a live link for you being the grand prize winner. thank you for entering a brilliant write in the contest, luvya, DARK!
this comment meets two requirements for contests (the present one and the one where you were the grand prize winner)
