Love these words you have used here Sis. The picture looks so inviting too. A very comfortable senryu.

You have said a lot with these 3 lines. I have never written a senryus. I enjoyed thinking about these words.

We have only had a dusting of snow yet this season. Your picture is beautiful, and that is what I love about snow...the beautiful picture nature paints for us all to view. If you're snuggles up warm and looking out, it is a treat. If you are bundled up and looking in....can be harsh... Still, I love the picture of your words.

    Dear Molly,
I'm sorry that this poem does not contain your usual wealth of detail or description of nature. I am therefore left in a state of acute suspense although I did note you changed the sheets. This is what my friend Mari calls a sexku (at least I think that's what she called it?) I applaud in case I've read too much into your words......
    Love and hugs, XXX Hugh.

What a winter wonderland is viewed from that room! The poem is as crisp as the outdoors. From the looks of that snow, I think I'd have soft flannel sheets and a feather bed! The trees remind me of gigantic frosted maple leaves. Klassy

It's snowing here in Alaska! That sounds liek something one would say a lot, but this winter was quite rainy and lacked snow. So I'm welcoming these snowy fresh sheets with happiness. Snow makes me very happy - not only does it make the world look lighter, it's so fluffy and fun to frolick in. I feel like a child whenever it snows, so I go outside and play with it. sighs Good old days.
Lovely haiku and a beautiful picture.

Snow is wonderful to view from the a warm, cozy spot. Interesting contrast. Snow is not often pictured with being 'cozy.' A warm fire in the winter, sure. However my fireplace is next to a window with a view of a forest. The scene from the inside is cozy though the outside looks cold.

Nothing like having fresh sheets on the bed to cozy into. That is unless you have someone else in the bed with you hehe Perfectly worded sis, if I do say so myself. It has the 'AHA' refect to it. And the picture is perfect.

    Hugs~
