slow

i suppose it's cuz i'm southern,
though i grew up in the east.
i suppose it's cuz i love the
slow movin life of peace,
when you sit and sip a julip
and converse on a porch swing,
take the time to know each other
before you rush off inta things.

i love the life it leads to.
i love it led me to meet you.
i love it slow.

i love it slow.

Author notes

yeah, it did seem a bit different, but I really like the setting you give us in the first part and then the repetion at the end seals the deal and gives it very tangible meaning. good write
