What has happened to making love.
like - we used to do, my mate.
Lately it always seems to be
based upon the date.
Can we just have fun tonight
We’ll have to check the slate?
It’s all about my cycle
and when I’ll ovulate.
Who ever thought that it would be
so hard to procreate.
For most it is so easy
they blithely conjugate.
And the next thing that you know
she’s putting on some weight.
But for those like us a Dr
must crudely desecrate;
our hopes that we could normally
produce as we relate.
Don’t worry right now darling
we’re in the two week wait.
So let’s make love like newlyweds
and pray that I’ll be late.

This is hilarious, Angel. Brings back memories of the times when I would post in my forum 2WW... My husband hated it!!! You're right, we shouldn't have to be on a schedule... but when you're in this deep to fertility treatments, you have to find something to laugh about.... How many sticks have you peed on this month?

Yes it is funny when you think about it... but it's really hard when you are experiencing it. When you are dealing with something like infertility it’s always helpful to find humor where you can. This was one of my attempts to find some of that humor, and laugh at our trials. But it is also very serious. I’m glad that you liked it. Patti
