House Of Dust

(Beth Ophrah)

Years ago, from the dens of free and dancing wolves,
there were drops of gold from a whispering elm-
a  dusty moon ,whose entourage of stellar bodies was harnessed.
It was encirled by a mandarin halo, waving to
older children that speak of the Glory One behind
the satin podium; unlike the place of Micah's meeting,
there would bequeath the truth of age, the promise
of shadowless forever and spastic fall of Gath.

And to whose countryside will there be delivered promise?
Among fewer-his- whose teardrops were counted by the
Master, and whose prayers would bare him naked in the
fast of priests and women; he will moan the jackal's call;
Now, Judah, you bring the poetic hushes through the wild
You will post the news for the troops of Israel-the proven oath
Of Y’shua-- a curtain opening from the broken pledge of man
so that the world can praise the mercy and punish-
that finally we‘ll know, a kingdom
is only as good as its king.

Author notes

For History interests!
Micah was an Israili prophet whose Judah countryside provided  a humble environment for those who knew, listened to, and obeyed the Creator. We don't know if it was by internal prompting or audible voicings. However received, he was inspired by the very Holy Spirit of God; he warned Samaria and Jerusalem about  the rulers-their turning away from a governing Lord and  need for a human ruler from Zion who was prophesied and fulfilled to be Christ-- the one and only Saviour of souls. We see a foreshadowing of what we are now viewing within our  present world’s condition. Hence, this psalm.

Stunning, moving, and all that wonderful stuf

The use of colour here is dazzling.
    It is stunning.
I also like how it seems to go from the past to the present and also with hints of the future, i hope i got it right...
    It's a lovely poem.
It's got a lot of emotion and belief behind it.
    That, i can feel.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Loui.

    epic tale

ancient and epic tale , loved the tell of it in a mystic way, as moon and wolves and man's wanderings from the truth , ,
An epic poem ,,loved the wisdom of this.

What an edifying poem, reminiscent of a Psalms. We have turned form the One Loving God and seem to be faring on our own these days. For sure God's Word will not be mocked, and the penance. of mankind will have its just due. Woe unto a people who turn from God. Woe to a people who do not accept the Savior, woe and again I say woe... The Sprit of the Lord abounds in the truths allowed to spill from your quill. This is a divinely inspired message my sister. Awaken the masses with the WORD!
    Very spiritual and boldly written!

Hi. Thank you for reading. If you'll read the book of Micah in the Old Testament, you'll learn.

He was very poetic and he is addressing the ones whom God called who fell away and did their own thing. There is a village called " Gath " whose strength would fall eventually.

    Glad you enjoyed! Warmly, CookieZeal

IF _ what you prohesy is truth, then from what I observe, the reason our world is in such a mess is because of the 'Bush that is NOT burning. Nice presentation. Your writings are always an inspiration to read. Thank you for sharing.
