Colin S Jones ( a friend for eternity)

Though an ocean lies between us,
your poetry flows to my shore each day,
affecting my life more then you know,
like a summer breeze it fills my senses,
taking my breath away with poetic beauty,
your words fulfill my spiritual hunger.

The softness of your inner beauty,
though you try, cannot be hidden away,
God has made you a man full of compassion,
showing your love for our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ shines through in your artistry,
your love for Him is so abundant in your poetry.

Helping me to grow in my faith you were patient,
I admire your strong convictions of your Christianity,,
a proud Scotsman your accent is adorable,
a true genius yet too modest to let us know,
for you are also a humble man who sometimes struggles,
with thoughts that make him who he truly is.

I can not thank you enough for your friendship,
your wonderful poetry is an added treasure to knowing you,
through our love of God our friendship is for eternity,
a friendship that began with our love for Jesus,
then grew because of the kindness that fills your heart.

(wipes away the tears)It is so sad to be separated from someone we care about, but thank the Good Lord above for the invention of the internet. Now we can meet new people from all over the world, and gain knowledge of other cultures. The internet has brought many friends together for their lifetimes. Amazing isn't it. This is an incredibly beautiful piece of work. Colin is blessed to have you for a friend. Thanks so much for entering the contest, and good luck to you.

Colin is a great man and friend. This is a wonderful tribute to him! This should definitely put a smile on his face! I do wonder about the title if you meant "foe" or "for" eternity, maybe just a typo?
