Our ways together
Are separate
Our days together
Were numbered

We could never stay together
It seems to always tear us apart
But none of us let go of the other
You take up all space in my heart

Our simple affair
We only know about
Not telling them we dare
To keep the world out

But we could never stay together
Or we will drift apart
We'll never find another
To play a special part

And so I carry on
Knowing you're not mine
Realizing I have won
A place with angel and divine
