Catch 22 Scenario?
Excellent write Mac. Is it a new level of tolerance, or is it just that the people have no direction to know how to make things change. Perhaps they are waiting for someone at the top to give them the incentive or knowledge of how to change the structures; and the people at the top's hands are tied because of their associations with the party and lobby groups that are controlling their actions? Is it a catch 22 scenario? Very thought provoking. Thanks. Take care, Heather -
Dramatically dynamic
As I told my folks (a few years back), "excuse me" but the opposite of love IS NOT HATE-," it is APATHY…!" However, for them, I should have said: "selfishness!" Hence, their abuse was more like the silence of the Lambs; just "self-centered…”
Be that as it may, I was and am- "such an optimist;" I never realized till years later "the effects of their abuse." Thus, "WHATEVER IS AT THE TOP FILTERING DOWN-!" As you say, this new level of tolerance; or really, is it only "APATHY which mirrors HATE…?" Great muse, Mac; even “a holy man of the cloth” could not have done any better. There is brilliance, "with a diplomatic style of excellence," in this one!
