There is a place in Heaven for kittens,
a place they play and all have a ball.
Roll around on soft billowy clouds,
angel cats catch them if they ever fall.
Older cats earn their special wings,
after they use up all ninelives below.
The day they die and go up to Heaven,
they receive their wings and a halo.
They protect and care for the kittens,
nurture and teach them to get along.
Angel cats will always be near by,
all meowing a sweet heavenly song.
When a cat or kitten passes away,
not to worry, they are Heaven bound.
Now be quiet and listen carefully,
from clouds you hear purring sounds.

this was such a great poem! Hey can I show this to my cousin? Her cat was hit by a car up at her farm in VT the other day. She is really bumed, this might cheer her up. Anyways, this was such a good poem! I am sure anyone who has lost a loved cat will like this.
Oh man, you are such a talented poet! I feel like a horse doctor in comparison to you! But then again, I don't really have much time to write poetry lately, so I haven't exactly been an active poet, just an active conetst holder.

Ah this is sweet, pet memorial poems are well sought after online Sandy, I’ve done the odd one over time. I can empathise with the thought as we grow attached just like we do with family, and it’s sad to lose a pet, leaves an emptiness. God Bless
