Love lost Is Never Wasted

Missing image
Love lost is never wasted
you brought joy into my life.
sweetest lips I've ever tasted
gone are hopes of being your wife.

Perhaps, but then the love is lost and that which is lost can never be a waste if the feeling of loss is attributed to it.
Love is a feeling which encompasses the horrid to the torrid...you expressed the same so well out here..kudos..Shubs

    Sad but beautiful

A love coming into our lives always leave soem thing behind. Joy and happiness first and pain and scars latter.

May be the joy is worth the pain and the scars, or most will not long for love so much.

Once again a lovely poem, kind of bitter sweet.
