Hold On

Hold on
Don't do something stupid
Hold on
Don't give up, don't let go
Hold on
Don't do it for yourself
Hold on
Keep them from worrying

Hold on
If you don't, you'll be dead
Hold on
You'll regret it in the end
Hold on
There's no point to it
Hold on
There's nothing to gain from it

Don't you dare break your unspoken vow
Please don't make him worry sick
Don't make him sad to the point of tears
Please don't do it, you'll be sorry

Hold on
There's no point in letting go
Hold on
You don't need it anymore
Hold on
They all care and they love you
Hold on
If only just for them

Hold on
If you don't, you'll be dead
Hold on
You'll regret it in the end
Hold on
There's no point to it
Hold on
There's nothing to gain from it

  • This is a wonderful write, the self encouragement... amazingly written, "hold on" the talking to yourself of hold on, you can survive, you can do it. Nicely done, I love the repetition. xxx

    Always Hold On To You

Repeating Hold On is almost like a mantra to Hold On and the best thing to do. Sometimes it is others we have to thank for holding on until we are able to find enough reasons to for ourself. Keep your eyes open so you won't miss your miracles and dreams coming true.

To LadyLuna: there's 2.5 hours in the difference ... but I agree with Rose, her mother won't be thrilled ... she's usually using phone anyway...

To Rose: Lovely poem. Thoughts come to mind that make me sad but you already know about them. Anyway, 'upspoke' is probably a typo.

I live in Canada and it's 10:27 pm here where I live. I don't think my mother would be too thrilled if I made a long distance call. Thank you though. I appreciate it.
