The Uncivilized Identity

I don’t want to be like them all
I don’t want to be normal
I make them all cast me away
So I can cope with every day

Doing everything I possibly can
To force them to ban
Me
I’d rather be the centerpiece
Than be the sweetest ever niece
Regularity

Bothers me
Tires me
I’m ever on the outlook to be
The uncivilized identity

I don’t want to be like them all
I don’t want to be normal
I make them all cast me away
So I can cope with every day

Author notes

"Goodluck Bear Rocks"

I was given "Fat Lip" by Sum 41, and reading it I noticed just how much I could relate, so I wrote kind of the same thing as the song says, but from my own perspective of existance..... if you could say that

I relate to this stanza so much you have no idea how much I'm shaking. You're a fine writer and I am going to have to take a break from reading but no worries, I'll return!
thank you for letting me read
