Life is the fire in which we burn
Spirit and soul are set free
Allowing us each to grow and learn
Life is the fire in which we burn
Each of us taking our own turn
Every day learning about who we should be
Life is the fire in which we burn
Spirit and soul are set free
I cannot stress enough how fortunate I am to have a great bunch of “kids” under my wing. Shameless1 and I worked together on this Triolet. I gave him the first line and the basics on the format of the Triolet and he came up with a beauty. I am very proud of him. Through slight modifications, this is the final outcome. We hope you enjoy it. Also, the picture was chosen by him as well, to show off his individual tastes and personality.

Life indeed is the fire in which we burn and how ironical it is that when we die once again our body is burnt(in my religion that is what is done). Having lost a very dear uncle(dad's cousin brother) yesterday afternoon, this poem spilled the tears from my eyes. Anyways, the poem is good in all ways.
Glad to see this one as it has come from one of your adopted poets.

Never tried one of these forms before but I think it is cool how it repeats itself in the second stanza just in a different order. You guys both did a really good job on it. Good luck to you both!

nice write
This is a very nice triolet. I've never heard of that type before, which i am sort of a new poet.
But it is very nice and the person that did this, Shameless1, did a great job. And you are always the greatest when it comes to needing help with something. Thanks.
XOXO

excellent!
I have not read a Triolet before that I can remember. I will have to look this one up... New self challenge!!!
This has a very nice religious tone to it, without being over powering. The fire being the symbolic for the presence of God.
Well done.
