The Sorrow Within

Tears roll down her cheek
She remembers what they use to be
These pictures she holds
Are know just sweet memories

She won’t be able to forget
The lies he told,
It hurt so much,
To see his plan unfold

He just wanted to use her
He didn’t even care,
He will never feel the pain
That she now has to bare

The restless nights
The pain within
It will never go away
It will be an endless sin

She starts to forget
Then she’ll walk away
From the pain and memories
He left that day

But the truth is,
The pain will never go away
It will be with her
Til’ the very last day.

    Very good

Hey Jackie,I really appreciated your positive comments on my poem Relocation.I enjoyed reading your stuff too, especially The Pain Within which reflected the turmoil that is caused when people manipulate others for their own selfish ends. You sound a bit of a character.Keep smiling. camus x
