carry on home
i'll be waiting miles and miles away
leaving you to be
forever seventeen
cleaning up the messes that you've made
My name is Jo. I'm 19. I have a very hard time finding inspiration. I think sometimes that my brain is out of words that sound nice together. I love my friends. I love music. And just so everyone knows i have the best boyfriend ever. That's all.
Did you know that the average American spends 6 months of their entire lives waiting at red lights?
That means we spend 6 months of our lives waiting. Waiting to be pointed in the right direction, and waiting to move on. Waiting to get to where we need to be, even though we usually know where it is. And when we don't know where we're going, we're just waiting to be more lost.
I'm really sick of waiting.

Twosoulsasone on February 6, 2006I was reading your writing, and it is all very sad. I know that the last thing that you want from me is to give you the speech but as a "reformed cutter" i feel i must. All the feelings and emotions that you are feeling right now are so pure and unfortunate. And i know it is easier said then done, but life does get easier. You are only 17 so you have alot of time to learn and grwo. I was around your age the last time i cut and now at 23 i am totally different. Your writes show so much emotion and in my opinon hope. I beleive there is hope for you and someday you will find it as well. Thank you for entering my contest and allowing me into your mind.
