Hi! I'm Melissa! I've been writing stories since I was nine and poetry since I was eleven. I have had a few minor publications in poetry magazines, such as The Mad Hatter, and Westward Quarterly. Recently, I received my school's highest creative writing honor, the Henessy Award, for my poem "Firefly". I really hope that I will be able to write professionally some day, but we all know how likely that is.
