Hi Everyone! A little about myself:

I am 30 and live in a little, little town in Victoria, Australia. I am a teacher, an avid reader, obsessed Jane Austen fan and an even more obsessed Buffy fan. I collect elephants and have done since I was young. I stroll around a tennis court in Summer (you can't really call it playing, but I turn up and try). I was COERCED into joining AP by my good friend Jules, who lives in the same town as me. Her link is below, please check it out!

I have loved poetry since my teens. Can't really remember how I got into it, but it seems to come naturally when I'm feeling sad. I've been very happy lately, hence the lack of poems!

I am an English teacher, so I am lucky enought to teach poetry every year with my Year 8s (they're about 13-14 years old). I have included some of the examples I have written for them. Mostly structured poems like Haikus and Cinquains. I have also included a few that my students have written, at their request. They are fantastic and I'm very proud of my little munchkins!
