phantom in the night
hiding in my dreams
a lost soul that wanders
neither here, nor there
to you I may seem happy
or a delightful spirit
my heart says otherwise
faith, something I try to find
alas, it is so hard
in my heart, I cannot open the doors
trust is so hard to come by these days
hope, please don't let me down
Hey guys, my name is Sam and I've been writing poems all of my life. It's an expression of emotion for me and a source of enjoyment.
I'm currently working at McDonalds while I look for a permanent job and a college.
I figured I'd add this little bit about my username in. The beginning is Phantom, because in life I'm more of a silent person, an observer of some sort one might say. Faith is a word that is very important to me, every part of it: the definition, trusting in others, hope.
