"Of course, weakness is strong. It's the primary impulse. You'd probably prefer to sit in your little room and cry. Live in your finite collection of memories, carefully polishing each one. Half a life set behind glass and pinned to cardboard like a collection of exotic insects. You'd like to live behind that glass, wouldn't you? Preserved in aspic."
From Memento Mori by Jonathan Nolan

"Usually, when the truth sets you free it beats the shit out of someone else." -Mercy

Well it has been a year of learning and growing and always spilling!

My most inspirational poet is Anne Sexton, my all time favorite poem being "For my lover returning to his wife".
She has achieved sheer brilliance with her language and her life-long devastation.

My soul seems to be similarly entwined with some of the heart ache of this woman although the step out of sanity and into brilliance is not necessarily an option i am willing to take as of yet.

Empty me
Of the selfishness inside
Every vain ambition
And the poison of my pride
And any foolish thing my heart holds to
Lord empty me of me
So i can be
Filled with you

My journal entries

  • Dear So and So, 1 I do not have anything left to say to you. My wit and charm have left me. My shy humility has been replaced with a hauntingly pretty package that is as fearsome as it is lovely. It rapidly deflates whenever you touch it. The words that emerge are hollowed echos, some that evaporate before they
