My name is Joy and I write poetry for many reasons, to escape, to express myself and to create a beautiful piece of art myself. I adore written prose as well as literature, dance, music , the arts, cooking, baking, children and animals. I have an obsession with anything French and besides English I can, read, write and speak French, Spanish and Italian. Slowly, I have taken on the endeavor of teaching myself German and Arabic as well.
I have a darker side too, I do love a good vampire novel and enjoy writing erotica every now and again. I recently have endured a lot of pain in my life and my poetry is sometimes an artistic form of what my soul and heart has experienced. I have not been writing poetry for very long, I usually write short fictional stories and erotica, I also have been taking on the task of composing several fictional novels that I hope to publish one day soon, so therefore as of lately, I am always engrossed in writing!
I tend to express my self with dance, painting, sketching, writing or cooking and baking as I feel I am an artist in every sense of the word. If I do not have at least one artistic form of expression, I feel devoid of all happiness.
