I'm a 23-year-old girl in NY state who just rediscovered this site - and all the poetry I'd forgotten about.
I'm an aspiring journalist ready to graduate college with a bachelor's degree in about a month. Finding this site once again makes me want to write more ... and maybe I will.
I used to look to the past to try to salvage bridges I've burned.
That may be one of the biggest lessons I've ever learned.
My late mother is my biggest inspiration - when I find true success, it will be for her.
I'm in love. With my best friend. I consider myself very, very lucky.
I try not to be bitter.
I try to be proud, but not obnoxiously so. I allow myself to feel pride when it's deserved. I don't think that's a sin.
I have a lot of love, but I guard it with my life.
