Ordinary daysShow poetry

Been awhile, now I'm back...

For me, poems are snapshots of the feelings that overcome us in moments of our lives. I barely remember a time when I didn't write poetry. I remember taking a class on poetry when I was ten.. and it hooked me. Some people journal, I write poems. A poem is so much more real than a journal, don't you think?
Rereading a poem I've written brings it all back to me... and so I don't edit poems before posting them the first time, though I might go back to it later and polish--so I really do want critical comments, you're reading unfinished work.

When a writer can show the reader each move, and glance in only eleven lines, this is a sign of true talent. So often, we writers do not get a chance to stop working on honing our craft to enjoy our creations, and the joy that is granted to the people who read our work.

This is my way of saying, THANK YOU, for working so hard in creating some of the most beautiful images, I have read.

Please keep writing and good luck to you!

    --Sincerely,

Zayra is one of the up there writers.. I have her up on a pedestal. She also happens to be a true doll so hey you just have to love the lady.

I wanted to stop by and read you and say Thank You for your kind comments as well,
