When my mother was very ill with cancer, we would watch tv at night. We watched a movie with Cameron Diaz in it, in which Cameron recited this poem. I don't remember the name of the movie, unfortunately. But we liked this poem so much that I got a copy of it the following day and took it to my mom's house. I had this poem slipped into my mother's urn at the funeral home. I read this at the gravesite of my mother. My children and I have wallet copies that can be carried with them. I just love it. I loved my mom very much. She will always be wi†h me. -

My 13yr old daughter and I watched 'In her Shoes' and she then wrote down the words and asked me what I thought of when reading them. My answer was my children and my love for them. She said she thought of her big sister (aged 24, with whom she shares an extremely close bond). Brought tears to my eyes and made me proud! -
