ONE PERFECT ROSE
A single flow'r he sent me, since we met
All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet-
One perfect rose.
I knew the language of the floweret;
'My fragile leaves,' it said, 'his heart enclose.'
Love long has taken for his amulet
One perfect rose.
Why is it no one ever sent me yet
One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get
One perfect rose.
i am a 53 year old mother of two daughters. one stepson and six grandchildren. i have been riding a motorcycle for 35 years, and i currently live with my soulmate, a man i met when we were 17 in high school. 30 years later at our high school reunion, we reconnected and 3 months later we were together again. like time never happened. we have been together 5 years now...and regret the time spent apart, but we make the most of our time together now.
he IS my cowboy, my life, my soul. and for the first time in my life i am truly happy and satisfied. all the time. i give and i am happy giving. i love and i am happy loving. i am cared for and loved in return and a person cannot ever ask for more than that.
