"Mad Man In The Rain"

Standing alone as the rain pours,
Lighting strikes the ground 30 feet from him.
He yells to the sky "Is that all you got"
Laughing and crying he is losing his mind.

Everyone stops and stares.
He does not care.
People shy away in fear.

His friends step back,
Hoping he will be fine in a minute.
Lighting strikes as he lets out a roar,
Letting go of everything.
His pain, his anger, all relased.

Droping to his knees,
The storm sirens screamed.
He punches the aspalt,
With all the streangth he has in his body.
Broken hand, he strikes once more.

The pain has gone he is numb.
To many people lost,
Too many times he walked away from
The ones he cares about.

Weak and broken he stumbles back inside.
Lost in his mind, the mad man is gone for now.
Until life grows too much again.
