Too much old silliness on here for me to purge it.
I'm from South Carolina, and I'd like to write professionally. I've had a few magazine publications, a few rejections. I've had a little training, but not enough.
Here's how I feel about poetry: It's easy enough that everyone thinks they can write, but so hard that none of us actually can.
My poetry is cocky, because I have to vent all this insane idealism somewhere. People would think I'm craz(y)(ier) if I talked in real life about punching gods in the gonads while saving the world from meteors, so it's on paper where I can say that I will turn back the sunrise for my love.
I hope you like me, but if not, feel free to hate me. If you have something you want me to read, and it's worth a a read, please show me. I love good writing and hate bad writing.
Don't leave a bad taste in my mouth. I'm no more qualified than you are, but my opinion matters more because I see my own reality. In yours, you may think what you like, but in mine, my insanity is always right
