Nyx--
In Greek mythology, Nyx was the primordial goddess of the night. A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation and was the mother of personified gods, many by parthenogenesis (asexual reproduction). Her children include:
o Aether (the highest air)
o Charon (boatkeeper of the river Styx)
o Hemera (daytime)
o Nemesis (retribution)
o Apate (deceit)
o Ker (fates of death
o Momos (blame)
o Moros (doom)
o Oizys (misery)
o Oneiroi (dreams)
o Thanatos (death)
o Eris (strife)
o Geras (old age)
o Hypnos (sleep)
o Lyssa (madness)
By Cerberus, she also bore the hellhounds.
