NordicskyShow poetry

I started writing poetry for the first time in March 2007. I was inspired to start writing by the Poetess “living passion”, to whom I will be forever grateful. I find writing poetry a wonderful experience. I feel both joy and frustration when I write, joy at stringing together beautiful words to express my thoughts and frustration when the words won’t come to mind. I seem to visualise my poems complete with beginning middle and end.
I want my poetry to be sharp like a samurai sword, to cut deeply, and above all, to give pleasure to those who read it.

A final thought: I would like to thank in advance all the people who give me helpful advice. I would also like to express my admiration for all the poets that contribute to this wonderful site.

Peter.
