I don't really think I can describe myself since each time I try to I realise I've changed again. I don't have a favourite style when it comes to poetry - I'm open to everything and will appreciate it for whatever it is. I lead a normal life although sometimes the sheer normality of it completely frustrates me and I lose a little of my self control. I enjoy spending time alone although I do have my few close friends whom I love dearly
I do not think any of my older poetry is worth reading as, although it is still very important to me, I feel that any emotions I needed to express were done so uncreatively. I am now learning to express them with that little added flair which makes poetry worthwhile. My personal faves are Psychedelic Hurt and Dead Mocking Birds.
Big shout outs to my sister (Mad-Malteaser) and other people I know: Elena (Blind Voice), Lena (Wena Munchkin), Dave (Croolis) and Macs (Nightmare Child) )
"All are lunatics, but he who can analyze his delusion is called a philosopher." (Ambrose Bierce)
"It is much more comfortable to be mad and know it, than to be sane and have one's doubts." (G. B. Burgin)
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." (Albert Einstein)
"Last words are for people who haven't said anything in life." (Karl Marx)
"Time does not heal, it accomodates." (Bob Geldof)
"I'm only happy when it rains
I'm only happy when it's complicated..
you know I love it when the news is bad
and why it feels so good to feel so sad" ~ Garbage
"And all I need now is intellectual intercourse
A soul to dig the hole much deeper" ~ Alanis Morissette
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why, so is mankind.
* Hangman *
She found him hanging from
(a garden tree) on a sunny day
in June.
He'd tied the knot so perfectly then
(died) that way,
at noon.
~ Sarah Wayte (Mad-Malteaser)
I have recently moved my best works to a deviantart account and will be updating there from now onwards as I find it much more convenient. If anyone wishes to keep track of my writing, it can now be found on http://paroxysmal.deviantart.com
