I stalk across the room to you, caramel eyes disclosing desire;
Smile at your sudden timidity; Wasn't it you who lit this fire?19 lines, September 30 -
My idea is one I've used before, but would LOVE to do again because it was so fun! My idea is to have a Villain-elle contest. That is, poems written in Villanelle form that must have a villain in the poem. You can check out m5 lines, 2 comments, September 23

lordoftherings on December 24, 2005I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way
Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall
What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat

poetryality on April 19, 2005I was just looking over the notes on the sonnet you left for me. I still have it at eight syllables but I swear I got the meter right. LOL Hope all is well.
Take Care!

poetryality on December 5, 2004Hi!
I hope all is well with you and that your holidays are filled with cheer and glad tidings. Be blessed and take good care.
I read your poem, and I too love that poem. I had read somewhere that the author is Scott St. James Check the link out below. It may or may not be true that this fellow is the author. Until now I have always seen this poem witten as anonymous as you have it on your page. I have tried to investigate this poem for months because it is so inspirational. This is the only time I have come up with any authors' name. Ummmm! What do you think???
