I dont think I have a style but I guess I enjoy writing Rhymes and Ballads. I love poems steeped in history, ethical dilemnas, societal issues and anything that has to do with family and loved ones.The same goes for my taste in reading.
I am a very spiritual person who strongly believes in Pro-Choice and free speech I am more of an Agnostic than anything. I enjoy nature and I am very eclectic in my taste for music. Some days you may find me listening to Adrea Boccelli, Sarah Brightman and the next minute listening to Zamfir, Mettalica, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Korn, Motley Crue, Black Sabath, Sum 41, Bach, Beethoven or Yo Yo Ma....etc etc...lol
I see myself as very philosophical and at times it has gotten me into more trouble than I would like. I love a good debate and as long as everyone involved is respectful and open minded, So will I. I often enjoy playing the "Devils Advocate" lol
As I stated earlier I am Child and Youth worker/Residential Counselor. I feel this is my calling in this life. I Live, eat and breath youth work, probably because I know how important it is to have someone in your life that actually cares and listens to you. I don't profess to be a saviour in my career or even know what I am doing half the time, All I can say is that I love it.
I have two wonderful little boys (Twins) back home (Aiden and Landan)who I miss and love with all my heart and although I am very far away because of circumstances I am not able to see them as much as I would like I still hold them close to my heart and try my best to be their father.
I am from a tiny island called Cape Breton which is on the north eastern tip of Nova Scotia. It's inhabitants are mostly of Scottish/Irish and Acadian descent which is why I am very big on anything Celtic.
I have Tourettes syndrome along with OCD but it has never stopped me in anything I do. Actually I feel it has been a gift in my writing and without it I don't think I would be the man I am today.
WEll that is just a little sample of who I am.
