Hi, I'm mostly a quiet 'sit in the corner' listener, bit odd for an Aries but I've always been different! Ha...

I live in a small town in England where I have lived almost all of my life, I work in a school with children aged from 4 to 11, a demanding but rewarding job.

I am what's known as a 'shorty' as I am only 5ft tall, but good things come in small packages as they say!

I have a real fascination for astrology and I'm an Aries with Capricorn rising. 

I love rock music, classic 70's rock like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Rainbow, I am also a huge Nickelback fan.

I love true crime shows but I don't really get chance to watch that much TV.

I have been writing poetry since I was 16 and was inspired to do so because I suffered from depression as a teenager and found it hard to say how I was feeling so I tended to write everything down and found that I had a bit of a flair for it. I tend to write mainly rhyme and on occasion some freeverse as well, I like to read most forms of poetry and have a few favourite writers here on AP,  I am slowly adding more though.

I tend to write as the mood takes me so my poems are quite mixed.

I like to read classic authors such as the Bronte sisters and Shakespeare.

I am also a huge fan of horror writer Shaun Hutson and own every book he has written. 

Well that's me in a nutshell.
