Not Alone

 

I stood alone, in silent awe, as I gazed into the midnight sky;
the stars, in all their beauty, stared back at me, and I
realized my unimportance, in the boundless expanse of space:
unheard, unseen, just me, my time, on this tiny living ball;
yet no, not alone, not unseen, for with me is the Mightiest of All.

Pleading Purity

oh for a Love that rises high
a Sun that colours earth and sky
discovering within the dark
the Sunbird's song - sung by the Lark

oh for a Sound so sweet and pure
wounded heart's harmonizing cure
that healing harp hails from bright Ray
and softly strings this soul to play ...

Solitude

 

Where evening seeps,

a stain of pink

across a blotting-paper sky;

where shadows dance

but never sink

on waters slipping by;

where rays of sunshine cease to burn,

mellow twilight do portray,

there in peace with no return

is where I'd like to stay.
