I am a 54 yo...and have been interested in writing for as long as I can remember...However (I was never good in English but rather good at spelling or used to be) I did take a creative writing class in College..but did not really start writing again up util the past 4 years....I enjoy many styles of writing, used to rhyme a lot, but like to write acrostics, haikus, Triolets and enjoy reading so many other formats, although I am not good at most of them myself. Like Qauntrains, Sonne'ts etc...but appreciate that talent..It's hard to admit but I get so discouraged a lot and due to the area I live in, and the fact that I'm disabled, I have a hard time finding inspiration...I am an absolute nature lover and enjoy anyone one's poetry that is of the same....If I feel so inclined I love to banter, and hope to involve myself in contest and groups as much as possible....so far the things I have posted, have had little attention...but I guess that's the way of things, when you are not a gold member or such...miss posting images etc...but to be honest I cannot afford to become anything but a free member for now....

I have a great sense of humor, like to have fun and make friends...I have been a member of at least 3 other poetry sites, but then was introduced to this one...some of them are very strict and critical...and I wear my heart on my sleeve, but I will take gentle tactful criticism, constructivce feedback and suggestions...I really look forward to being on this site..have already made some friends and am looking forward to making more, reading and posting.....
