I am a 22 year old living in Idaho. My life revolves around my music and my writing. I perform whenever and wherever I can but I make end's meat as a server at a national franchise and use up my spare time attending Boise State.
*I'm a democrat - yes, I wholeheartedly believe Obama can change the world.
*I'm an activist who's not afraid to stand up for what I believe in.
*Every Tuesday, I have dinner and watch a movie with my dad who is my favorite person in the world and my inspiration to pursue my dreams.
*I'm passionate about many things I love and I truly think that the world is a wonderful and beautiful place, even if we can't see it at the moment.

MUSIC
by Charles Baudelaire
Music doth uplift me like a sea
Towards my planet pale,
Then through dark fogs or heaven's infinity
I lift my wandering sail.
With breast advanced, drinking the winds that flee,
And through the cordage wail,
I mount the hurrying waves night hides from me
Beneath her sombre veil.
I feel the tremblings of all passions known
To ships before the breeze;
Cradled by gentle winds, or tempest-blown
I pass the abysmal seas
That are, when calm, the mirror level and fair
Of my despair!
Those Who Cannot Speak
by Shadows Fall
Scream out against the glass
The sound reflected unable to escape
Desperate to connect
Lashing out at words that fail to appear
Bound In Silence
The Failure Of Sound (never learned)
Instinct urges on
As the mind creates its own obstacles
Waging internal war
Between the objects and the abstract
Eloquence of the inner voice
The poetry of the condemned
A stream of consciousness
Never to be understood
The Strange Music
by G. K. Chesterton
Other loves may sink and settle, other loves may loose and slack,
But I wander like a minstrel with a harp upon his back,
Though the harp be on my bosom, though I finger and I fret,
Still, my hope is all before me: for I cannot play it yet.
In your strings is hid a music that no hand hath e'er let fall,
In your soul is sealed a pleasure that you have not known at all;
Pleasure subtle as your spirit, strange and slender as your frame,
Fiercer than the pain that folds you, softer than your sorrow's name.
Not as mine, my soul's annointed, not as mine the rude and light
Easy mirth of many faces, swaggering pride of song and fight;
Something stranger, something sweeter, something waiting you afar,
Secret as your stricken senses, magic as your sorrows are.
But on this, God's harp supernal, stretched but to be stricken once,
Hoary time is a beginner, Life a bungler, Death a dunce.
But I will not fear to match them-no, by God, I will not fear,
I will learn you, I will play you and the stars stand still to hear.
