I live in rural Iowa, and I go to school in a small town near my hometown called Iowa Wesleyan College. I am a music major there, with a soon-to-be English minor, if I can squeeze the credit hours in around my rehearsals and practice times and other major music stuffs.
I like to write poetry, obviously. I post most of my work on My Space, and I will add a link to my page below. I keep a daily journal, as well, but I haven't really told a lot of people about it yet. It's my Live Journal account. I will also add a link at the bottom.
I like to critique hard, even strangers, so if I have offended you, I apologize. Not much I can do to make it up, not after the remark is said, but I will try to keep my words soft.
I have a very introverted personality. I'm quiet, wise, and like to think of myself as having an "old soul." According to my co-workers and older acquaintances, I act older than my age, and I have a lot of wisdom for someone that is nineteen. I try to use this to my best ability.
I'm nice, and will do anything to avoid drama. I don't talk about others, and I don't listen when others are talking about others (but somehow, I always end up being the "keeper of secrets" because of my tight no-talk policy). I have a lot of energy when I am in a place where I am comfortable, so I hope you get to see that side of me sometime.
I'm a water element, with a considerable amount of earth in me, and just a nonexistent pinch of fire. If you have a question about this, ask me, and I will explain this to you. I'm very superstitious in that aspect; what I call "superstition" you call "religion."
