It’s time for an update, definitely!

First of all the first and most important thing to know about me is that my name is Rachel. I am in California and now 19 years old and a college student currently studying psychology, who plans on being a special education teacher or going in to school counseling. I attend a private University up in northern California. I am also a bit of a nerd and since I’ve made a few more real life friends, I am much more of a happier person, and perhaps a bit goofy if the mood strikes. I am still pretty quiet and very opinionated. I tend to be very straightforward and blunt. I still can get pretty irritated by rudeness and inconsiderate folks. However, I think I make a pretty good friend if you choose to get to know me, but then, that is purely my opinion. I am somewhat introverted, but am outspoken and talkative. I tend to get along with the quieter calmer crowd of young adults, but also get along extremely well with older adults as well. For the longest time, I didn’t get along with people my age, I suppose I didn’t find the right crowd, but got along well with older adults, but I haven’t lost them even though I now have some younger friends.

I identify as an American, human, and most of all a citizen of the world , but immigrated to the states from China.

I love politics and will often be found writing about it. I am registered as a Libertarian but am a very complex mix of conservative ideas being a bit of a Capitalist. I don’t mind disagreements with my views, but I will absolutely not tolerate disrespect.

I am totally blind and have been since I was eight years old. I was born as a very low partial, which means I could see a little bit but never enough to read even large print and steadily but very quickly lost my vision. I had cataracts which was removed, and still have a long list of medical eye problems. I have glaucoma, dried eyes, retina detachment, lots of scarring, and bilateral perters anomaly without the mental retardation bit. I do not mind putting it out there, and have no shame in being very truthful and honest about it. There’s nothing to hide here, and in a way it’s a important part of me, so you might as well know now.


I am also moongazer7 on here, which probably makes no sense to you. It was one of y first ever pennames and I have decided to go back to it and unite all my writing accounts under moongazer7. It was a name my sister, my friend, and I came up with after a long funny conversation. Moon stands for moony or Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter books. Even at 13 he was my favorite character and gazer sort of means fan. Yes, Yes, it’s very silly now considering the name was thought up by two 13 years olds along with an eight years oldd, but I can’t be more fond of it since that was my first ever name on any writing site. So, Moongazer7 I am. I later decided if I was to put a number I would put 7 for the most powerful magical number according to the Harry Potter bbooks, so here I am with this username. If t helps anyone on storywrite recognize who I am, I did go by Dgalt Fan.

One thing to know is that I refuse to fight online or take place in drama. If you cause me trouble, I will put you on my block list to save us both time and energy. I dislike conflicts and fighting with another person behind a computer far far away that you don’t even know seems very silly to me.
