I'm often misunderstood and a lot of the time underestimated... Poetry is my escape when I need it and also something I just plain out enjoy. Most of my poems are based off of emotions that I feel or have felt, but then again some of them are just thoughts that came to my head and I had to write out on paper. For the longest time all I wanted in my life was for my dad to come back and I wanted to know why he left me in the first place. Now I understand that drugs to take over and you loose a huge portion of your life and you don't even know it till It's too late. No... I don't think I'll ever get over the fact that he didn't love me enough to stick around, but now I do have him back. Family is a huge thing to me and I consider most of my friends family. I even have a school family because mine is so fucked up. I don't really want to explain my whole life story for the world to read because then I'd have some creepy stalkers that know too much. But yes, my life has finally turned around and things are starting to get better. I got my dad back after 8 or 9 years. I just got my brother back on April 9th. It was the first time I got to talk to him in 9 years. Last time I saw him he was 4 and in T-ball. I've got an amazing boyfriend and I love him more then anything. I'm still trying to find all the right words so I can tell him just how much I love him and it's gonna take a while because I'm not gonna write him something just off the top of my head. No... he means so much more then that. I want to find the perfect words for him ones that explain almost all my feelings because I'm not sure I'll ever find the right ones. Love... how do you explain it? An emotion so strong it's like no other. Can it be put into words? Well anyways I like comments on my poetry and if you have any advice on how to make them better I'd like to know <(^.^)>
